Digital Gold in India — Buy 24K from ₹1
Own real 24K gold online without a locker — priced off today's gold rate (Wednesday, 12 August 2026).
What is digital gold?
Digital gold lets you buy 99.9% pure (24K) gold online in amounts as small as ₹1. Every purchase is backed by an equal quantity of physical gold stored in an insured vault by the provider (MMTC-PMP, Augmont or SafeGold). You can sell it back anytime at the live rate, or convert it into physical coins and jewellery delivered to your door.
How the price works
Digital gold tracks the 24K rate — today about ₹14,948 per gram. Providers add a small spread between buy and sell price, plus 3% GST on purchase. When you convert to physical coins you also pay minting/making charges, so digital gold is best as a savings/investment tool rather than for jewellery.

Digital gold vs SGB vs physical
For long-term investment, a Sovereign Gold Bond wins — 2.5% interest and tax-free maturity. For small, flexible savings you can redeem anytime, digital gold is convenient. For wearing, buy hallmarked physical jewellery and use our value calculator to check the fair price.
